Body lice
Body lice are known as Pediculus humanus corporis. It lives and deposits their eggs (nits) in the layers of unhygienic clothing. The main complaint is the body itchiness. Occasionally, excoriation can be seen produced by frequent scratching.
Laundering is the mainstay of treatment. Gamma benzene hydrochloride or permethrin can be applied locally.
