THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOSPITAL & PRIMARY CARE SETTING

There are a lot difference between hospital and primary care setting. The patients usually shows their true colors once they pay a visit to primary care however in hospital their status and family background tends to be invisible.

As a conclusion, we must ensure that the next generation of doctors are better educated and understand the potential of careers in high quality family medicine, with the provision of adequate training facilities. The graduates who enter other specialties must understand the role of family practitioners and the value of complementary relationships with them. The most important part is the number of primary care physicians should be directly proportionate to the health outcomes of a population and family physicians. Family physician is a fundamental and irreplaceable component of primary care.
