Womens health - Inverted nipples
Inverted nipple is one of the problems that might be facing by mothers. It is a problem when the nipples become retracted when areola is squeezed. Most of them might be very eager to breastfeed their baby but with this kind of problem the baby might refuse to suck the nipple and the mothers will feel discourage hence discontinue to breastfeed their baby.
For this group of mothers, don’t worry, because the babies attach to the areola and not the nipple. If the baby has difficulty attaching because the nipple cannot protrude sufficiently, then you can try some of the following method:
• Cut a small hole at a brassiere to push the nipple out
• Wear breast shell between feeds if available.
• Use breast pump before feed, or someone else sucking(if acceptable)

Not bad at all, but this topic is rather little of interest. Please do not disappoint your readership.

Before, we were made to believe that if you have inverted nipples, you cannot breastfeed your infant. This is a great article… There might be a specific technique to learn, or might have some difficulty with BF, but at least… Women having this would still be able to have maternal attachment to her baby through BF.
Thanks!

Thank you very much for reading this article after all. I really want people to see that having an inverted nipple doesn’t mean that you can ignore your responsibility to breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding is so beautiful, (if you can see it). There is no words I can use to describe it.
