Management:
First of all we need to investigate either the patient is really a dyslexic or just not been taught the basic skills of phonemic segmentation. If this is the cause, it means that the patients need a good teacher and not the doctor. Special educational programs are available for addressing dyslexic problems as phonetic approach to learning to read usually present problems. Better result is seen if we identify the problem earlier before school where they can be given exercises in sound categorization using rhyme and alliteration activities, with special teaching of letter sounds.
